Welcome to the South Cheshire Radio Control Society

The South Cheshire Radio Control Society is located on the outskirts of Middlewich, Cheshire. We are a BMFA affiliated club that has been in operation for around 50 years.

With around 60 members, we have a broad range of experience from complete novice to seasoned veteran. We are a friendly group, always happy to give help and advice to others and have monthly social gatherings throughout the winter.

All types of radio control aircraft can be flown from our well maintained grass strip and we have a good mix of IC and electric powered models. Gas turbine power, unfortunately, is no longer permitted due to noise constraints.

We have a number of club instructors to take care of those in need of training.

We encourage members to provide their own model and RC equipment but do have a training model available for those who want to give it a try before fully committing. We also have a BMFA examiner who can assist those wishing to partake in the BMFA Achievement Scheme.

We are currently at full capacity but, if you would like to be entered onto our waiting list, please get in touch with our Membership Secretary, Steve Pennell, using the ‘Contact’ tab for more details.
